Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Agricultural Services Department Head, Bülent Sağır, and Agricultural Services Branch Manager, Yakup Seymen, visited our exchange and met with Chairman of the Board, Eyyüp Ergan, to exchange views on key agricultural issues.

During the visit, discussions focused on strategies and measures to combat the brown marmorated stink bug, a major agricultural pest causing significant damage to various crops. The meeting also addressed the roadmap, procedures, and preventive measures to be implemented in the fight against this pest.

Additionally, potential collaborations for the upcoming World Hazelnut Week event in August were discussed, with an emphasis on strengthening efforts to support hazelnut production and sustainability.
