Within the scope of the Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol, signed between the Ministry of National Education, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and TOBB University of Economics and Technology, which aims to integrate vocational education with the real sector, the Protocol Executive Board (PYK) Meetings of Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, where our Exchange also takes part in the management, were held.
The meeting was attended by TTSO President and PYK Chairman of both schools, Erkut Çelebi, as well as Protocol Executive Board Members, including our Chairman of the Board, Eyyüp Ergan, our Vice Chairman, Mikbir Hakan Canbakal, TTSO Vice Chairman, Ahmet Kazaz, Trabzon Provincial Directorate of National Education Vocational and Technical Education Branch Manager, Abdullah Yıldırım, Borsa İstanbul MTAL Principal, Avniye Çelebi, and Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan MTAL Principal, H. İbrahim Aydın.
During the meeting, key issues such as planning the educational programs of both schools in accordance with industry demands, directing young people towards vocational education, improving the quality of vocational training, and increasing the preference rate of talented students for vocational high schools were discussed. Additionally, topics such as the establishment of the Hisariçi Chocolate Training and Production Workshop, training personnel for the kazaziye (filigree) and woven wire jewelry sector, developing training programs on automotive and electric vehicles, and creating vocational education opportunities for the ship and yacht construction sector and ship machinery were also addressed.
